Help with your LordAR-1009 — most answers are a scroll away, and a human is one email away.

Installation

Mac

  1. Double-click LordAR-1009-2.0.0-Mac.pkg from your download.
  2. Choose your formats: Audio Unit (Logic Pro, GarageBand, MainStage), VST3 (Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio), and/or the Standalone app.
  3. Quit and reopen your music program so it discovers the new plug-in.

The installer is signed and notarized by Apple — it opens with no warnings.

Windows

  1. Unzip your download.
  2. Copy the LordAR-1009.vst3 folder into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
  3. Rescan plug-ins in your DAW (or restart it). The LordAR-1009.exe standalone runs directly — no install needed.

Frequently Asked

The plug-in doesn't appear in my DAW

Quit and fully reopen the DAW — most only scan for new plug-ins at launch. In Ableton, also check Settings → Plug-Ins → "Use VST3 Plug-in System Folders" is on, then Rescan.

My MIDI keyboard isn't making sound

In the standalone app, keyboards connect automatically — give it two or three seconds after plugging in. If it's the keyboard's first time on this computer, unplug and replug once. In a DAW, check the track is record-armed.

How do I link my controller's knobs?

Right-click any knob → "Learn MIDI control" → turn a knob on your keyboard. Done — the link is permanent. If nothing happens, your controller's knobs may be in a "DAW mode" — switch them to MIDI/Custom mode on the hardware.

A knob doesn't seem to change the sound

Some controls are patch-dependent: PW only affects Pulse waves, the FILTER ENV knobs need ENV AMT turned up, and a VCO's knobs need that VCO switched on with its fader up.

A note is stuck / droning

Tap the brown PANIC switch at the top-right of the panel — instant silence.

Where are my saved sounds?

The SAVE button writes preset files to Documents → LordAR-1009 Presets. Load them back anytime with LOAD. Factory presets can never be overwritten.

Where's the manual?

Right here — the full illustrated owner's manual, including the Sound Cookbook and a deeper troubleshooting section.
